about

My decision to join the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) didn’t start with any sudden epiphany or wild inspiration. I merely happened to stumble across this nutrition school by chance through facebook – how shocking. I have many interests in life which can be a good or bad thing -I guess – depending on how you look at it. Nutrition is one of those.

After being diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, following an emergency bowel resection, I came to realize the true importance and direct correlation food has on our health. I’m hoping my year at IIN and my certification as a Holistic Health Coach will enable me to help others find their health and happiness. I have no idea what direction I will go in, but I do know that I’m headed in the right one!

I want to dedicate this blog to my amazing family, friends and fiance for their unconditional love and support (for every new and crazy idea I come up with – which is often!)

“There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living.”
